WHY CHOOSE ISR?

WHAT IS ISR

ISR goes beyond traditional swim instruction and teaches children how to survive in the water.  Children are curious, capable, and have an uncanny ability to overcome obstacles like pool fences. We teach them skills to potentially save themselves if they find the water alone. Depending on your child’s age, your child will learn different levels of self-rescue skills, including a roll-back-to-float and/or a swim-float-swim.

With a focus on safe, customized, one-on-one lessons by Certified Instructors, ISR’s Self-Rescue® lessons emphasize health, ongoing program evaluations and parent education to deliver the most effective and safest results in the industry.

Each lesson is uniquely tailored to your child’s needs based on comprehensive assessment and continual monitoring of your child’s health and skill attainment. Because every child learns at his or her own pace, your child will be gently guided through each skill level.  Lessons are always taught at your child's emotional and physical pace with safety as the top priority.

Infant Swimming Resource’s Self-Rescue™ survival swimming program is approximately 6 weeks, scheduled 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, for 10 minutes each day.  Refresher lessons  are scheduled every 6 months to a year for approximately 3 weeks to help children adjust their skills to their growing bodies and abilities.  Maintenance lessons are available anytime during the swim season for

fine-tuning of your child's Self-Rescue® skills.

Even if your child has had swimming lessons, no child is drown-proof and there is absolutely NO substitution for adult supervision.
