Hello there! My name is Nicole Roosmalen and I am so glad you found my page! I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. In 2009 I received my Registered Medical Assistant certification, graduating summa cum laude at the top of my class. For the next decade I made a career working for a Reproductive Endocrinologist specializing in Infertility.

Growing up around pools and watersports fostered a passion for the outdoors, so in 2018 after the birth of our daughter we took the opportunity to move to Lake Lavon and live the lifestyle we love. Raising our daughter around water gave me a different perspective towards children and water safety.

I discovered ISR when we took a trip to South Padre visiting a friend who has been an ISR instructor for many years. I decided to observe her lessons during our trip and began researching ISR in more detail. I was so intrigued by the ISR program and the skills her students were learning. The moment we enrolled our daughter in the ISR program, I absolutely fell in love and found a true calling. I saw firsthand what the program had done for our daughter and the impact I could have on the lives of so many children.

I knew I wanted to learn the ISR process and pursue a career as an ISR instructor. After that decision, I was accepted into the ISR family by the end of 2020 and began my extensive training summer of 2021. I could not be happier with my decision to become a certified ISR instructor and I hope to help ISR reach as many families as possible.

With a passion for children and making a difference in my community, I am so privileged to offer ISR Self-Rescue skills to young children and families. I look forward to teaching your child and working together to ensure that "Not One More Child Drowns!"
